Michael is a minister and regional staff director with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He also serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Chaplain with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. He has fourteen years of professional ministry and strategic leadership experience. He has lived and worked internationally for the last nine years, providing leadership in complex, cross-cultural contexts, including Bogotá, Colombia, for five years and across Europe in his current post.

He holds a Master of Divinity, Duke Divinity School and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, North Park University (Chicago).

Michael grew up in the Detroit area and has been happily married to his bride, Sarah, since 2013. They have four children and reside outside of Barcelona, Cataluña. They are active members in their current home church, Església Evangèlica de Vilassar de Mar.
